It gets lots of attention, and the Lesotho corridor is a connection from the east of Africa, from the inlands all the way to the sea, so they can transport their products better to all over the world.

But it also needs improvement, the global gateway.

So we need to have... more private investment.

But the second thing then is on the financing.

And we have the global gateway out there, a promise of $10 billion to ASEAN made back in 2022.

We need to target some of that money to support the ASEAN power grid and then private sector funding can flow in behind it.

So three ASEAN countries are currently negotiating free trade agreements with the EU.

Yes, there needs to be investigations, but there needs to be diplomatic pressure.

We need to use the levers, levers we have with the Global Gateway partnerships and other partnerships.

I don't think we should be writing blank checks.

We should understand that copper and cobalt aren't more important than human lives, and we need to speak clearly and use our economic leverage.

The European Union and Zambia share a robust partnership based on a commitment to multilateralism and the rule-based international order.

Uh, EU's partnership with Zambia is also vibrant under the Global Gateway and Lobito Corridor.

Uh, Zambia is a stable and constructive partner aligned with the EU on regional and global issues, including Ukraine.
