the only other thing um that gets mentioned quite a bit is the drawbridge and and that and that sequence as well at the end yeah um because i guess there's a lot going on there isn't there they've built the drawbridge um the boat that's passing is a model with lots of people created on the boat they actually create all the people yeah um It says here in the book, as Al Pacino dragged Glenn Headley up the rising drawbridge, he did so in front of a special blue screen designed to generate a mat.

The optical department could then isolate an image of the actors, which was combined later with the background plate of the drawbridge model to create the finished scene.
