Going deep is going deep in God, but it's also going deep in yourself and your own internal life, but also your community to really, like, let yourself know others and be known by others and ultimately by God.

[upbeat music] Hey, friends.

Jordan here.

Welcome back to "The Pastorate." We're so glad that you've joined us.

Last week, our team took 19 Canadian lead pastors from our Lead Pastor Fellowship cohort down to Southern California for one of our program's planned city visits.

These trips are designed to expand pastoral imagination by letting pastors see how others are faithfully leading in different contexts.

They're also where friendships between cohort members really get solidified.

We go to sit with pastors, to take in church services, to listen, to ask questions, to pray, and to bring home an enlarged sense of what faithful ministry can look like.
