But, you know, I've played that dance band music.

loads and it does nothing for me so I wanted to write more kind of contemporary big band stuff whether that everything from kind of like Sammy Nestico to Gordon Goodwin that's kind of my writing style so it just gave me an outlet to do that and then obviously in Covid we had the lockdowns and it gave us a lot of time to you know consider what we were doing with our lives and I the thing that got me through was writing a bunch of big band things and getting them recorded so I did, like, I'm a big Disney nerd, and I just love the music.
