Glenn Crooks

Yeah.

Yeah, and apparently, as Pascal Janssen described it, Nico Fernandez-Mercow is still the number one taker of their penalties, and Pascal Janssen was asked both in the wider press conference and in the one-on-one availability that he had with Glenn Crooks, a friend of the pod, NYCFC radio announcer, about the situation that led to Talis taking the penalty.

And Pascal didn't even really have an answer.

He just sort of said, Nico decided to not take it.

So that was the call from Saturday night.

That was Glenn Crooks and Maddie Lawrence on the NYCFC radio network.

You know, that was a moment that probably hurt a lot of NYCFC fans, knowing that their playoff hopes are dwindling.

We'll get to the equalizer later on in the show.

I know it's, it's Brad Sims aside, you know, it doesn't make the team any better, but it makes the fan base more excited and that's, that will make the team better.

Uh, let's go back to how this episode started almost an hour ago.

Uh, the call by Glenn Crooks and Maddie Lawrence.

Uh, here's, we're going to say about this goal, um, from Walter in the, uh, in, in stoppage time of the first half.

You're young.

What do you wanna do?" I said, "You know, I'd love to coach in the States." She puts me in contact with, uh, somebody who became a longtime, uh, friend and mentor to me, Glenn Crooks, who was coaching Rutgers at the time.

Uh, he helped me get an opportunity in the United States.

So while, you know, after 78 applications, I finally get a job at Fairleigh Dickinson.

MLS.

Uh, who else did he do? Uh, Glenn Crooks.

And who else did he do? Uh, Glenn Davis, right?

Correct.
