Levon Termendzhyan's is a classic American success story.

He arrived in Los Angeles as a kid as part of the waves of Armenian immigrants that settled in places like Glendale, North Hollywood, and Burbank.

He got a job at his family's gas station, and then he bought a gas station, and then he bought another gas station, and then he bought another gas station.

And pretty soon he was an energy titan.

Levon was a big deal in his community.

When Michelle went to Glendale, everybody seemed to know him, and more often than not, they liked him.

I think that there are stories about him paying for people's educations, or from really, like, taking people who are down on their luck or who he saw promise in the Armenian community.

He was colorful.

I tweeted this earlier, and I was on ABC7 News at 8.30 this morning with huge Dodger fan, Phillip Palmer, who's called Dodger Talk, he told me.

Phillip and Glendale, I got to give you a shout-out because you brought this to my attention at 8.30 this morning that these nine guys have not been in the starting lineup all season long.

Edmond, as you know, was on the I.L. until June 17th.

And they talk about all different kinds of things.

So Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Culver City, West Hollywood, Burbank, Glendale, Sierra Madre, San Gabriel, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach.

They all get together and they talk about sanitation and they talk about water and they talk about homelessness and they talk about housing costs, El Segundo.

They get all these people, they all get together And we were over in Coronado.

That's changing now with a lot more coming our way.

Events are happening November 1st and 2nd at Forest Lawn locations in Covina Hills, Cypress, Glendale, and Cathedral City.

A high-speed bus lane you're supposed to have for the Olympics, but we don't have the lane and we don't have the buses.

Now, five Democratic members of Congress got together at a press conference in West Hollywood, led by the extremely irritating Laura Friedman from Glendale.

and she said, we are certainly insisting that the federal government provide the resources that Los Angeles needs to make these games a success.

We need $2 billion to give the seamless, wonderful experience everyone expects.
