What was the most surprising aspect of that ballgame on Saturday night?

night?Yeah, I think probably the, the defense for me, particularly the run defense.

Um, getting gashed like that in the first drive really kind of just set a bad taste in your mouth for the rest of the game about how that one was gonna go.

And look, it was, it's now we got two games of sample size of this team on the road, and they're just not very disciplined.

They're not very focused when they've gone on the road here.

And they've really, I think, kicked themselves as much as the other teams have beaten them in these two games.

Um, and you know, particularly against Kentucky, when you have the, the punt return for a touchdown, you have the, you know, the indecision there to not go for fourth and one.

Does LSU have a great defense?

What do you-- how would you assess LSU's body of work to this point, understanding what we now think we know about the teams they've already played?

played?[sighs] I, I think that their defense has been as advertised.

Like, I think we could see kind of the elements of the defense working really well in the off-season, and I think that's translated onto the field here through five weeks.

I think that those guys, especially up front with the defensive line, uh, maybe that was the group coming into the year that we thought, you know, had a little bit of questions to answer, and those guys have been really, really good, and it's also been the group that stayed really healthy for you.

Uh, so I, I think that the defense has been really improved here, and Blake, Blake Baker obviously has the, the guys that he feels like can go out there and execute that defense.

I think offensively we're, we're still learning, right? I, I think there's been a little bit of a, a transition here the last two weeks to where it was maybe a very run-heavy offense the first three weeks of the season, and now you're starting to see Leavitt get more and more comfortable throwing the ball.

Uh, and so I think that they've kind of leaned into the passing game a little bit more in these last two performances.

What, uh, what do you expect to see?
