The one thing I will mention, and this is sort of the six degrees of separation I had, I worked for a while with Glen Keane, who is a Disney animator, on various productions.

Glen Keane also animated in Aladdin, the character Aladdin.

And he said specifically that he chose Tom Cruise as his model for that back in 1992.

And I think if you look at Tom Cruise's nose in particular, he really has an unusual nose.

Yeah, all due respect to Donna Murphy, but let's see what Clarabelle's going to do with it.

So, many years later, in 1996, Glen Keane, a genius animator who we've mentioned a lot before in the Renaissance era, who animated characters like Ariel, the Beast, Pocahontas, and Tarzan, he... developed rapunzel in the 90s as this kind of passion project one thing that all of these amazing glenn king characters have in common is fantastic hair the man liked animating hair and i think he probably just saw rapunzel as the ultimate hair movie So he was pushing Disney to make a Rapunzel movie for a long time.

He was coming up with ideas for it.

And in 2001, our old friend Michael Eisner approved the idea with several conditions.

So way back in 2001, a long time, well, I mean, you know, it's around the time of Dinosaur, but a long time before Disney would commit to computer animation full time.

He didn't realize that people could actually visual- like, visualize information.

So he decided to do an experiment at Pixar, and he went round to all the different people at Pixar 'cause he was interested in how it was related to creativity, and asked them about their experience of mental imagery, and basically found that Glen Keane, who was, like, a, um, one of the most, like, prominent illustrators at-

He said that he doesn't experience mental imagery either.

Wow.

And he showed this video of, um, Glen Keane, um, like, drawing, and he had the expressions on his face.

So it'd be, like, drawing something, someone angry, and he was, like, had an angry expression-
