Glen Gulutzan

They're like, they play a weird style.

Uh, I'm not really a big Glenn Gulutzan guy, but, uh, maybe this is another game you look towards the overtime horn if you want some fun, but I'm not betting it.

Uh, Blackhawks look pretty feisty.

This is kind of a fair slide to me.

... that we're putting in the rafters?

We re-retired, uh, four great Falcons: Jeff Ferguson, Mike Mathers, Glen Gulutzan, who's your head coach at your Dallas Stars, and the great Greg Spinrath.

So he will be number five that will be permanently, officially retired, uh, from the Fresno Falcons going forward.

Well, I think we're, we're talking about lore.

Nah, nah, nah." Here's what I'd say to you.

I was told on Vasily Podkolzin, not just by Glenn Gulutzan, but by a few of the veteran players, "We got a player here.

This guy, look at how hard he works in practice.

Look at the work rate.

Thought maybe they would give Casey DeSmith a look here, Dallas, former Pittsburgh Penguin, that maybe he would've started here, but not the case.

Uh, Glen Gulutzan going back to Jake Oettinger.

Uh, Artur Shelovs, we do expect him to be in net.

She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah.

It, it sets up well for road hockey.

Remember, that was a term and phrase Glen Gulutzan used a lot last season.

Road hockey.

Road hockey, simple hockey, making the simple plays.

And at this point, I think it was, uh, I, I...

Well, I know it was Glen Gulutzan was the coach, went up to, uh, went up to Giordano and was like, "Can't happen." Like, "He's missing the bus." Like, "He's not here." Like, "What's going on?" And all of a sudden Johnny comes out, like, high-stepping on the ice, and comes up to Gio, who's talking to Gully- [laughs] ...

and gives him a pat.

He's like, "Come on, G, what are we waiting for? Let's go." [laughs]
