Long and anxiously, they talked over their peril, trying to find some plan for saving Asgard from these enemies.

At last, Heimdall, the faithful watchman of the Rainbow Bridge, proposed a plan.

With gold they built Gladsheim, the hall of Odin, and with gold they made all their dishes and household ware.

And in Odin's own palace, Balaskjalf, that was roofed all over with silver shields.
