And I loved the sport.

I remember my mum taking me up to, um, Glasgow, so it would've been Glasgow Green where the hockey center was just before the Commonwealth Games.

And, um, I went up, so I turns up, like, just for a school thing, 'cause I don't really know what to expect.

And this girl introduces herself, and she's like, "Hi, I'm Emma." And I'm like, "Oh, I'm Nats.

I see the expertise that goes on there and all of the things that you don't really think about, but are very expensive to bring the good quality coverage to us.

So, you know, the high overview crane shots and the jib arms that swing a camera across the band, the wide angles, the closely focused shots of faces and fingers and always capturing excellent audio despite wind and rain and whatever elements, other elements Glasgow Green can throw at us in any given year.

Despite all that, the quality never diminishes and it is very difficult and extremely expensive, I would say, to replicate that.

So, yes, I am worried who is going to be able to come in and cover it to that standard.

35,000 people took part across the weekend, making it the largest staging in the event's history.

Over 2,000 kids got things going on the Saturday with the junior and the mini events on Glasgow Green.

And then on the Sunday, well, that belonged to the 10K and the half marathon, with runners starting at St. Vincent Street and finishing under the McLennan Arch.

It's not just one thing fits all, but- No ... it's certainly one of the, one of the main issues because used to, listen, you got- I remember, I remember going to Glasgow Green.

The boys would go, "I could just use that pitch." And, and the, the guys were like great, you know, the people.

We never- Now they're, "Oh, you can't play there." I canna remember actually- It's ridiculous ...

I don't think...

I can't remember the last time I saw it.

Maybe for Glasgow Green as well.

Remember Donald Findlay? released a video there's another singing performance that maybe I'll ever forget and the one that I'm going to go for an old he's not been on the show for a while but I was chuffed for him when Tom Urie had shed a power of weight he then got the chance to sing with the BBC orchestra at Glasgow Green and he sang Nessun Dorma you remember that? very much yeah and He was absolutely fantastic.

And my goosebumps were like golf balls when I was watching him doing it live on the telly.

So I would go with that.

Five more people have been arrested following the mass disorder that erupted in Glasgow city centre after a controversial protest at Glasgow Green.

Police Scotland has confirmed that five men are the latest people to be charged as part of the ongoing investigation into the unrest on the 25th of July.

The disorder broke out following planned protest activity at Glasgow Green and later spread into the city centre, where police imposed containments in several areas including Oswald Street.

The men have been charged in connection with a range of offences, including assault and possession of offensive weapons.

All five will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal and are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.

All joking aside, what an incredible showcase for our art.

Hundreds of musicians traveled enormous distances, spent ridiculous amounts of money, practiced for countless hours, and walked onto Glasgow Green knowing one imperfect moment could define an entire season.

Celebrate the winners, be gracious to everyone else, remember how hard it is, simply earn a place on one of those circles.
