Let's wrap this up with a couple of closing questions.

Through your role in Gladiators, you've inevitably become a role model for younger guys.

What would you like young guys or people to take away from your content? I

think there's a few things from that that I would love for people to see from my content, and that's be yourself and be authentic.

They don't have to fucking speak to me like I'm back at nursery school to explain what's coming up next on The One Show.

I mean, have you seen this Gladiators spin-off show, Gladiators Pranks?

No.

It was on yesterday afternoon, Sunday afternoon.

I'd been watching something and I flicked it on and it was just on before the repeat of Saturday Night's Gladiators.

And it's only 20 minutes long and it's Gladiators pranks.

And it's like when Rio Ferdinand used to do pranks.

Yeah.

And I didn't know who The Rock was.

So I got, because the thing is, when I grew up in the 90s, I loved watching stuff like Gladiators, right? Yes.

i really enjoyed watching gladiators with like the with like the travelators and like the the batting people onto like the mats oh it was great such a bunch really wild fun but i thought how could anyone in a film just be called the rock like the only thing that i'd even remotely heard of even after that film came out that i had referred to as the rock was gibraltar And so I'm sat there thinking, why is there somebody called The Rock? And naturally, you know, because this was the very early ages of like, you know, en masse internet in terms of search engines and things like that.

I mean, I was born seven years before Google.

well we'll find out more some people I should say by the way will probably recognise Mark Clattenburg more from Gladiators but we'll find out more as this season progresses all about that we'll get probably some good scoops on Gladiators it's a good programme and a man fresh from the gym because he's looking lean mean the absolute nonsense talking machine that is Bobby Madden FIFA approved referee I should say Bobby
