I just listened to the episode Cursed Bread and Pink Dolphins.

I'm pretty sure the spooky song in the Halloween decoration played is the song Gizmo sings in the Gremlins movie from 1984.

If you type in Gizmo singing in a YouTube search, you can see the clip from the movie.

The reason I remember the tune is because my whole Girl Scout troop was obsessed with Gizmo back in 84.

... then I can tell you, when I was in the '80s, who my favorite horror character was, non-human, Gizmo.

Gremlins counts.

Gremlins is both a horror movie and a Christmas movie.

That's right.

And it just goes off from there.

Gizmo, who is still at this little shop in Chinatown, ends up getting picked up by someone who works at a, what do you call it? He works

at the genetics lab.

Yeah, genetics lab in the building.

It do be talking to you and in the bathroom.

Yeah.

I think the bathroom is the only place that there are not cameras because Billy does take Gizmo out of the toolbox that he hides in the bathroom.

Yeah.

I didn't even think to look at the Warner Brothers or Amblin Entertainment Instagram pages And apparently that's where they debuted this thing.

And the video is basically just a little teaser, what is it? Um, coming June 28th, 2028, and it's just Gizmo hiding, and he makes some Mogwai noises.

But there's even worse to come when the mogwai become sinister experiments for genetic engineers,

It really does.

Like, you look at Gizmo singing his little song, and you don't realize you're staring at an extraterrestrial entity, one that's harboring the darkest geopolitical secrets of the 20th century.

Yeah.

And honestly, looking at your backdrop today, I mean, the towering, dusty library shelves, the massive stack of chunky VHS tapes you've got there.

Yes, George Gipe.

Mm-hmm.

And I am warning you right now, everything you think you know about the adorable little Gizmo and the terrifying, chaotic gremlins is about to be turned entirely upside down.

Oh, without a doubt.
