Yeah.

You know, I was in Giverny at Monet's garden, literally on probably the two best days because really... wisteria i love them when when they're in bloom and it's trimmed well i have a client in rancho santa fe that i nurtured this wisteria for years and it is a piece of art it is so gorgeous but for most people they let them get ratty the vines are everywhere they're they're running from runners they're just all over but we were there for probably the two best days of the whole year to be there to see it in bloom uh in his garden where the water lilies and stuff were.

But for most people, it's never like that because they don't really maintain it enough.

I think that's the biggest thing.

So even taking a more relaxed approach.

And not being a stickler, like, okay, well, let me figure out how to get to Giverny.

And let me, you know what I mean? For me, that was really good.

And it made for a more leisurely day, allowed me to just enjoy the city.

It's his famous house with the water, water lilies and, you know, everything he painted in his, well, not everything, but was inspired by that landscape and those colors.

But where the storyline comes in is that you have the discovery of a painting in the house and there is a lot of fictitious details in this film but that just makes it all the more fun because so much is already known historically about the impressionists and specifically Claude Monet so we know what's fact and what's fiction but we also know where there's a gray area and maybe but we just don't know and we never will know hmm Anyway, what we have is the locales.

So the locales do take us to Paris and along the Seine, and it also takes us to Monet's actual garden, into his actual house at Giverny.

And you have this supposed relationship that Claude Monet had in the late 1800s.

Possibly he did, possibly he didn't, having read his most recent biography.
