Um, so at the time, Riccardo was at Givenchy, so there was nothing-- There was no interference, um, no competition, and he had a great relationship with Nike.

He'd actually done a little collab with them before on different products, so it was, like, a natural evolution of his partnership.

Um, and I remember that moment.

Some of the collections were inspired by horror movies like The Birds, The Shining, Psycho, and Scanners.

And in 1998, he debuted a collection for Givenchy that was inspired by Blade Runner.

That collection is totally Blade Runner.

I feel like every model looks like a version of Sean Young in that film, in those really sharply tailored suits, those 1940s bumper bangs.
