right like the downloading of archiving stuff and the technical debt yeah exactly so yeah i ended up deciding to deploy it with github pages um because it was super simple i know it's battle tested uh another option was cloudflare pages and you can host this you know it's such a simple website you can host it any way you want um but that got me up and running almost immediately

yeah just throw an mp3 file on my website but like i'm gonna have to look up the the limits of um of github pages and that might have caused a problem there because like the total size of my website can't be bigger than like a gigabyte i can't upload files bigger than 25 megabytes so i would have to like really compress these mp3s and they do eventually like slow you down like the traffic isn't unlimited but i like how libsyn only charges you based on how many hours you upload a month they don't care how many downloads you get so if i unexpectedly get like a hundred thousand listeners on this episode i won't be you know i'll be ready for that
