things that I really loved about a very different film and has nothing to do with stop motion or animation.

But there was another movie from that was set in the Pacific Northwest, set in Oregon this year called Girls Like Girls.

And there are a bunch of scenes in that film of the two main characters going off into the wilderness.

walking along railroad tracks.

So that's why I'm reading that one again.

And then I'm reading Girls Like Girls by Hayley Kiyoko.

It's a book I've been wanting to read for a while, but the movie version just came out over the summer, I think.

And I saw the movie version and I definitely felt like, oh, like I feel like I – want to know more about these characters um and so i'm doing the weird thing of reading the book after i've seen the movie um but yeah if you're unfamiliar hayley kyoko um is a singer and she wrote this book it's semi-autobiographical about her own experiences um as a teen, like figuring out her sexual identity and being queer.

It is the fourth quarter.

And our fourth quarter read along is Girls Like Girls by Hayley Kiyoko.

I guess I'd give that three stars out of five.

It's like I think this whole journey of Girls Like Girls, I always thought of my 16-year-old self.

Mm.

Girls Like Girls is about Cooley from rural Oregon who navigates intimacy after her mother's passing.

Meeting Sonia sparks new feelings for her, but self-doubt hinders their connection.

And unfamiliar with dating girls, she's very uncertain.

They learn to embrace, though, their emotions.

Maya da Costa, Myra Malloy, and Zach Braff starring in Girls Like Girls.

And then one set in an English boarding school called Everett, Extra Geography which follows two teenage girls as they grapple with all the challenges of girlhood friendship boys studies growing up and their summer project to fall in love so Marnie Duggan and Galaxy Clear star in Extra Geography and then back on the big screen is Take It or Leave It which is a remastered re-release of the autobiographical account of the cult 80s British pop group Madness so that is your selection this

week quite a selection What about a TV movie for us, Gareth?

The two lead actors in the movie, Samantha Weaving and.

and carol garner i think they're they have a lot of great chemistry together and i think they propel the movie in really interesting and really fun ways so carolina caroline definitely check that out another movie that we covered also girls like girls uh it is a teen romance movie A little bit of sexual awakenings, a little bit of tension filled between these characters in this universe.

It's called Girls Like Girls, so you can tell what kind of romance is budding in the movie.

I thought it was a very sweet, very tender movie.

So definitely check out Girls Like Girls.
