Girl at Home

Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.

It is called Girl at Home.

How well does it fit? I gave it an 8 out of 10 because it's about cheating, and there was cheating on this record that isn't really-

Mm

... like delved into in the fullest expression until we get to Girl at Home, even though I think that's not about the situation she's writing about on Red.

But either way, it gives us a very strong understanding of what her emotional compass was when she was at this point of her life, which was if you cheat, you should kill yourself.

Um, songwriting, I gave it a 5 out of 10.

So all of that to say today's episode is going to be super fun because we're doing something we've not done before.

And that is that the first half of the episode, we are going to talk about our initial thoughts and feelings about the encore, the four new songs that we got, you know, between the time we recorded those episodes and now.

And then we're going to take an actual real break, not just a commercial break.

We're going to take a break and go watch the VMAs.

Also linked in the show notes is our Spotify playlist.
