We actually started off in meeting our patron in Rivendell, who's Gilraen the Fair.

And she says that our father, who's another ranger, is missing.

And that we're meant to go look for him.

And then we made our way to... here I had Durhill go down to the angle try to recruit who he could for army and then I went to Rivendell to let my patron who gave me the initial quest last season of figure out what's going on with the Great East Road and the attacks to inform her and to get whatever guidance I can from her and that's really where we left off so I'm gonna go ahead and I don't know if I still have it up I do Rivendell I was hoping to have more of these maps, but it just didn't really happen that way.

So, Gilraen the Fair is not meant to be this haunting-looking figure.

This was actually Helvarn, who was the creator of the Blade of Angmar from Season 1.

And for some reason, it associates token, and I just am too lazy to delete and recreate the thing for just a quick little token.

So green, if we look at the map over here, is Borderlands, yellow is Wildlands, and orange is Darklands.

And what that means is when you're rolling for a Journey event, if it's a Borderland, you roll the feat die twice and keep the better result, which is what I've been able to do while I'm in Old Arnor because of Gilraen the Fair, my patron, her ability.

Wildlands is just a straight Journey event roll.

And then Darklands, you roll twice and keep the worst result.

Most of the road, as you can tell, is yellow because of the fact it's a main road.

It's busier, it's more populated, but when you get to near the mountains, it gets more and more wild, and that's why it becomes more like Shadowlands, whereas the Shire is very safe, and that's why those kind of things happen.

The reason I think they gave you Gilraen the Patron's ability is because of the fact that you're a ranger of the north, and she works with the rangers, and so the ability is just like, you're very familiar with these territories, you know what to avoid and what to look for, and you can kind of watch for yourself, because it's like a second home for you.
