Gillian Martin

Then we had Colette Stevenson who sits on a committee who thought that Transport Scotland was a registered charity.

And then we had Gillian Martin this week who wasn't aware that the Scottish government owns actually quite a considerable number of crofts and owns quite a lot of land.

And all of these videos have gone mega viral online with people kind of saying, hang on a second.

Some of these people are government ministers.

Uh, we are taking forward a range of measures which are about ensuring that we adapt to the changing climate, that we improve resilience within rural and island communities, that we take the adaptation actions that are necessary within the climate change plan, which Parliament considered before the election and which governs so much of the activity.

And indeed at cabinet this morning, Gillian Martin was setting out the proposals, uh, and the approaches that she will take in leading the government's efforts to ensure that the terms of the climate change plan are, uh, followed and pursued and delivered by the government.

So I assure Ariane Burgess of the importance we attach to, um, taking this action and to ensuring that we honor our commitments and our obligations in this respect.
