But the point these, the point that two, two people are making is if we're going to carry on using it for a while at least, shouldn't we be using our own rather than importing it from elsewhere?

But there are current reserves that we're, we're using without opening new fields that can be used to, to help with that transition across.

We should have been funding this transition properly.

We should've been saving the jobs that have been lost in Aberdeen and Grangemouth, where I'm from, decades ago.

The best, the next best time to start that transition is right now so that we don't lose any more of the jobs that we have here in Aberdeen, so that workers do have their, the time to transfer their skills across, to learn those new skills, to make sure that we've got those good, well-paid unionized jobs in these communities for generations to come.

I have friends who worked at Grangemouth, then went to, um, Mossmorran, and have lost jobs twice because we've left it to big companies.

Both governments haven't done enough to support the workers in these, in these industries.
