Gil Gross

And I think Mike Dupree, he's a local from New Jersey.

And I think there was another one who was at Mike Gross, Gil Gross.

It's like, ugh.

Oh, it's mind-blowing.

And I still think for a guy who's under 24 years old, like let's not forget that 2023 clay courts.

We discussed Holgaruna with Gil Gross in our draft of the next potential first slam champions.

But good to see him back on an upwards trajectory.

And then shout out to our guy Nuna Borges.

Welcome everyone to Monday Match Analysis, brought to you by Fitnexa.

I'm Gil Gross.

Lorenzo Mussetti is a champion on the ATP Tour for the first time since 2022.

He beats Taylor Fritz in the final of Lyon, and that will be our focus on this week's episode of MMA.

But I'm going to ignore Kisimov, ignore Skliar for now.

I want to talk about the other six because what is something we do very frequently here at Cracked Rackets? I mean, just a couple of days ago, Gil Gross joined me on the podcast to draft the next first-time slam champion.

That name might, honest to God, emerge from Group B at these ITF Junior Finals.

I keep wanting to number the letter B.

If every other sport is definitively getting better, then what are the chances tennis is the lone exception? And on the contrary, if there are other sports that aren't getting better, maybe tennis is one of them.

I'm Gil Gross.

This is Monday Match Analysis brought to you by Fitnexa.

This is an honor and a privilege, Gil.

And if- You're looking for a little extra bonus content, a glimpse into the future.

Uh, again, make sure you check out Friday's, uh, Mini Break podcast episode with our dear friend Gil Gross, where we drafted the next first time major champions.

Of course, with that said, shout out as always to the best in the business, our super producer, Daniel Westhoff.

A shout out and thank you as well for the support we get from our friends at The Laurel Springs School.

Now, again, I, as much as anyone...

Go listen to the podcast tomorrow we do with Gil Gross where we're drafting the next first-time Slam champion.

Diana Schneider's name does not come up.

There are players with lesser resumes and lower in the rankings who do.

Oh, by the way, might be a Too Many Break podcast tomorrow.

If not, the episode we already have planned released at 7:00 AM Eastern Time.

Gil Gross joining me to draft the next first time Slam champion.

Every man, every woman without a Slam title eligible for the draft.

And by the way, a little tease.

Coming up on Friday, Gil Gross will join me on the Mini Break Podcast, an episode already recorded.

We drafted who will the next first-time Slam champion be? And you could draft men's players, women's players.

The only ca- caveat, they cannot have yet won a Slam.

Um, here's a, here's an off-season idea.

Gil Gross, um, I'm sure you know that name, Monday Match Analysis.

Mm-hmm.

One of my good buddies from school.

But apparently it was awesome.

The highlights were great.

Um, so cool that Gil Gross and Anthony Dibondo get shout-outs within two minutes of each other on the-

Yeah
