Mr.
EdGUEST
27:34
Well, you basically can't, because, I mean, next door to this as- this assembly area where this is gonna happen before the band and, and the soldiers march the very short distance to, to do the guard mounting directly in front of the Convent, uh, is, uh, is a school, uh, and also an old people's home, uh, and lots of passersby.
EdGUEST
27:55
You'd have lots of spectators, because this is a sort of spectator sport, uh, for Gibraltarians.
EdGUEST
28:00
So whatever way you cut it, there would definitely have been a lot of innocent, uh, casualties, men, women, and children.

It still feels a bit strange because I don't speak Spanish, so if anything were to happen, I'd be like, not really sure what you're saying, if I were to get pulled over, but I'm trying not to have the... there's a lot of fear mongering going on especially on facebook groups that people seem to just hate spanish and all this other stuff but what i found is they're just normal people like you and i trying to get through life trying to pay their bills look after their family and this fear that we seem to have around spanish police or spanish people are bad or politics are all against us i really don't subscribe to that kind of mentality i just feel that they're all exactly the same people as us but they don't have much say or they might not care so much about all this politics they're just trying to live their life they come to gibraltar every day to make some money and go home again that's it and us here in gibraltar we just want to make our life simple better for our family and then go home I don't really see why we should be hating people because they're from a different country from us even though that they come to Gibraltar every day in their thousands to serve us ultimately they're waiters and to do the jobs that Gibraltarians generally don't want to be doing reception work catering housekeeping these types of roles are generally taken up by Spanish folks so I don't see the conflict.
Ahmed RehanHOST
11:50
I don't see why there seems to be a problem with that.
Ahmed RehanHOST

And three is the language issue.
David DeardonGUEST
1:49
That's fine for Gibraltarians who are obviously bilingual and able to speak Spanish, but a lot of the expat patients... found it quite disconcerting and difficult being in a foreign country and speaking or being surrounded by people and not fully understanding what was being said to them about their health care.
David DeardonGUEST
2:11
So over the last several years, I've been considering the idea of building a hospital here in Gibraltar.

John PittoSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
6:39
A lot of people always say, well, where's Gibraltar? Who are the Gibraltans? Although we are Gibraltarians.
