Ghost Dad

interesting movie though

yeah he also wrote Fletch oh I guess he was uncredited writer on Fletch but still I'm looking through the movies he's written and all of them except for Ghost Dad all of them are better than

Rhinestone

what's wrong with Ghost Dad Brendan

uh it stars a comedian from the 80s uh

I thought you were going to say, it stars a rapist and Bill Cosby.

And one of the famous dads who came back to life was Bill Cosby.

Oh, no! No, seriously? Ghost Dad? What? There's a movie called Ghost Dad.

Okay,

this movie came out where a guy fucked his daughter.

A year later, Bill Cosby went, I want to be Ghost Dad.

Oh, no! Bill Cosby made Ghost Dad a year after this.

Whoa.

And he's like, when's

I don't know who she was in that movie.

But she was also in Ghost Dad.

I want to make this a prequel to Ghost Dad.

Oh, do you? Do you indeed?

I do.

It's so

hard to say.

I have more dark memories of Ghost Dad than that

And he almost had a similar vibe, but less than, of his character.

He had more depth in this than his character from Ghost Dad.

Um, but it had a similar vibe of like, yeah, he's the

boss and boss kind of can't be bothered, but you better impress me wearing suits.

He went to the spirit world.

He forgave his ghost dad.

Other than that, he accomplished nothing.

He does not have any new powers or new understanding.

There's

a fire over there.

Then we get Ghost Dad standing up there with Ghost's little brother.

Not the Lincoln

now uh how do you feel like he handled it well because i've been in a lot of auditions i'm sure you have too and some are harder and some are way like make it way easier for the actor to just be

well you know if you the longer you're in the business the more you realize that uh directors who have been actors speak our language sydney was uh one of them that really was was was good with with actors i worked with him twice i worked with him on that and then ghost dad later on

i like that it started with like uh wilder singing like a kooky song like a little jazzy song and showing all of new york and how like what they're showing is it's horrible to live there, but he's talking about how he loves New York and how he's crazy.

Yeah,

Congratulations.

But like all together, I really did enjoy this movie.

And I liked this way better than I like Ghost Dad.

Boom.

It is, of course, the accident.

Speaking of movies, Kaylee is joining us.

Skull, Kaylee.

Skull, my favorite lady, Roachie.

Michaela thinks that Dune is a Christmas film.

Thank you.

All right, seeing we talk about movies and shit, how come there hasn't been a remake of Gremlins? That's a Christmas film.

You don't

Actually, I take it back.

I think his last movie is Ghost Dad from 1990.

Lest we forget the Ghost Dad.

Lord.

Being haunted by Bill Cosby.

YeahYeah.

Well, so was Ghost Dad, uh, with Bill Cosby.

[laughs]

Yeah.
