To be candid with you, it's not clear to us that you have much information to share with this committee that would be relevant to our investigation of Jeffrey Epstein.

For example, I would like to introduce as minority exhibit A this excerpt from Glenn Maxwell's interview with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.

I'll read out loud the relevant excerpt for you.

You can see that Ms. Maxwell was asked, quote, "Do you know whether Mr. Epstein had, knew, or had any sort of visit, dealings, or associated with Hillary Clinton?" And Ms.

There it is, folks, in plain English.

We're confused why we're here? No, we're not.

What I'm confused about is why you're not asking her why she gave Glenn Maxwell's nephew a job at the State Department.

Maybe we should ask her about that and save the whole Ted Waite and Glenn Maxwell being his plus one for somebody else.

Question, did anyone solicit funds from Jeffrey Epstein on your behalf? Answer, not that I'm aware of.

Question, did you ever invite Jeffrey Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell to any of your political fundraisers? Answer, I did not personally invite them to my political fundraisers.

Question, did anyone else invite them on your behalf? Answer, I don't know.

Question, is the purpose of a political fundraiser to solicit funds? Answer, you would know what it is.

His interest was, according to reporting in Regime Change, The New York Times, um, a book by New York Times reporters, he suggested that they offer a pardon to Glenn Maxwell in exchange for clearing President Trump.

But Thom Tillis, who is a Republican who's on his way out, and, uh, it's a very, very, uh, narrow vote in the Senate Judiciary Committee for him to move to the floor for a full vote for confirmation.

He basically said because he's retiring and he's not afraid of Trump as much, and maybe there are some things he wants on his way out, some earmarks, um, he said, "I'm not going to vote for you unless you meet with the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein." I mean, they have been asking for, I think it's, was 374 days exactly to the day.

The FBI reports to the DOJ.

He would, he currently is the, the top law enforcement agent in this country right now, and to say that he has no control over cases, um...

He said that he would, he wouldn't commit to pursuing further cases because obviously if you've read the Epstein files at all, they're, it's riddled with accusations against other men outs- outside of Jeffrey Epstein, right? Uh, any document you look at, there are so many names that are not Jeffrey Epstein and Glenn Maxwell, uh, and women are describing graphic detail of being sexually abused by these men.

Yeah.
