Get Up

While the band would still certainly be able to rock out and have fun, this song would represent a vital fork in Van Halen's road.

Rocking to Get Up.

The seesaw rockets up again to a fast-paced Van Halen jam.

Eddie's riff is ripping from Jump Street with some of the most untethered tenacity he would ever produce.

His earnest taking of the song's message shines through as Roth himself rolls into a big ball and flies.

The Highway to Hell Award for best musical intro.

For 5150, I love Get Up start.

Eddie has shifted into maximum overdrive for the musical intro of Get Up.

But like that style, that era, that age range, I can see that's why they like Van Hagar.

yeah yeah but no it's it's weak and um you know with with eddie's guitar playing like this is so synth driven and so 80s sounding that overall the guitar is really turned down in the mix like it's it's low and it's just like this is why we we listen to van halen is because of eddie's guitar and why and then david lee roth's you know crazy vocals but if when you when you don't have ross vocals and you're just turning down the mix or the guitar mix like what's the point what's the fucking point of this it's it's dumb it's not good 5150 is not good um So the actual good song on here, my banger is Get Up.

It's fast, and it's really honestly the closest thing to the Roth era.

Stinker is Dreams, but it's also kind of a banger.
