Get on Up

Another movie quote.

James Brown in the movie, the last James Brown movie, I think it's called Get On Up or something like that.

He's talking about the music, about the funk, right? And being on the one.

And one of the musicians says, you know, we're playing these sounds and technically they're not correct.

But I don't know if you're speaking of it.

They were filming or finishing Get On Up.

the James Brown story and Anthony Bourdain was shooting down with our buddy Dino at the Big Apple Inn.

And I guess Tate Taylor and Mick Jagger had seen Anthony Bourdain on the street that day and just invited him to dinner.

You need somebody that's going to be able to...

It reminds me of Get On Up, the James Brown movie.

I forget what character it was, but it might have been Craig Robinson's character or whoever.

Just talking about being the man next to the man.
