Gerrymandering

Uh, at Princeton, my team has come up with a way of judging a district map, uh, fairly and, um, neutrally, and we do it with a combination of looking at voting patterns and computer simulations.

So we, we look at the basics, um, and you can see all this at gerrymander.princeton.edu.

So we look at the basics, like whether the shapes are not too crazy, and then we look at historic voting patterns.

Uh, we look at whether, um, one party has drawn an advantage for itself, and we have this grading rub- rubric that we set up that gives a grade from A to F.

But, you know, if you were to come from miles and look at this situation, you would say, well, this manager is doing something deliberate to make this team not play properly.

Do you think anything's been gerrymandered? Gerrymandered?

Yes.

Well, I don't like to make those kind of accusations.
