Gerry McNamara

So Siena was able to go on the magical run up there in, uh, Jersey for the tournament.

Uh, Jerry Mack gets it done.

Now he's back at his alma mater.

Uh, all is well.

I've got the Pios at nine.

Nine is where I have Siena here.

Uh, just the post Jerry Mack fall off.

We've already kind of touched on that.

And last year, yeah, they m- they had a little bit more money.

Let me tell you something, how much money you think Jerry's, Jerry Mack's spending compared to what Adrian spent?

I would say he's got a few million more, 2, 3 million more than Red working with.

Yeah.

That was the, uh, game where, where there was the touchdown that wasn't, right? I think it was-

Don't get me started on Gerry McNamara.

Yeah, I know.

[laughs]

You have relationships all across college basketball.

I, I think it's interesting kind of how these coaches cut their teeth, right? Gerry McNamara at Siena puts together a good two years and makes a tournament run and almost beats Duke.

You got other coaches like Justin Gainey, who's the associate head coach at Tennessee, and a great program like that.

Do you lean kind of any direction about what builds a better foundation for these coaches? Or maybe you have these relationships, right? Who is a guy that you say, "I love what he's done in his career.

They didn't want anything to do with it.

Now it's flipped, to where you have a lot of coaches who are trying to make time for that.

I think Gerry McNamara is such a good piece and a good leader for Syracuse because he understands everything that comes with that culture.

He understands everything, I think, in the SC-- in the ACC.
