Georgetown Steam Plant

Well, I remember, uh, I guess I first read this in Michael Azerrad's book, and then it's been in the other Nirvana books, how, uh, Black Flag played in Seattle, and Kurt and his friends came up from Aberdeen to see them play.

And Big Black did their last show in Seattle, and, um, they played at the Georgetown Steam Plant.

It was a very punk place to play.

And again, you know, Kurt Cobain was at that show, as was, were most people in, um, I guess you'd call it the alt rock indie scene-
