DOJ, which is led by Todd Blanch, has accused George Washington University's medical school of illegally considering race in admissions, escalating the Trump administration's broader campaign against race-conscious practices in higher education.

In a finding announced August 27, the OJ Civil Rights Division said, George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences intentionally discriminated on the basis of race when evaluating applicants for its 2024 and 2025 incoming classes.

She is a practicing emergency medica- medicine physician and adjunct professor at George Washington Medical School.

Dr. Alker specializes in using media to create accurate public health messaging.

We have Dr. Cooperman and Dr. Burstein that are out here today to discuss this important topic.

So Dr. Cooperman serves as an Executive Vice President and Chief Academic Officer and Distinguished Professor at Children's National Hospital, as well as the Chair of Pediatrics and the Associate Dean of Pediatric Academic Affairs at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

He's a pediatric emergency medicine physician and clinical epidemiologist and a leader in emergency medical services for children, particularly in multicenter research.

His focus is on clinical trials and clinical prediction rules using large cohorts of acutely ill and injured children.
