George Washington High School

Now, let me tell you, as somebody who is a product of the San Francisco public school system, I loved my education in San Francisco.

From Madison School to Roosevelt Junior High School to Washington High School, I had nothing but the best in terms of facilities, teachers, opportunities, and much of what I am today is dependent on what I got from the San Francisco Unified School District.

Well, let me explain to you my problem.

The city's school board voted for a new enrollment process, and I still don't understand what they're talking about.

That's right.

And I was able, indeed, to walk to my elementary school and to walk to my junior high school.

I had to take the bus to go out to Washington High School, but the bus schedules, as I've reflected in the past, were well-coordinated.

So I don't know what the San Francisco Unified School District is thinking.

I was particularly affected when I heard the story told by my dear friend Richard Correa.

I've known Richard Correa for years, a proud graduate of George Washington High School, former head of the Richmond Station here in San Francisco.

Richard Correa was an SFPD officer, and he had a chat with his sister, Ann, and this is how he described it.

We were talking about what it was like to be a manager of Toys R Us.

No, we just have to, we have to get to his show.

And I see DC in the green room too.

DC, thanks for hanging tight.

And Joe and Jessica, thank you for joining the show.

And again, goldenwestcollision.com is the website, or joe@goldenwestautobody.com is the, uh, website... or I'm sorry, the email address.

And that's the website, goldenwestcollision.com. Paulie and DC waiting in the wings.

We can give some love-

That's right

I got to sit at his table last night at the special Kruko dinner.

So a great way to end our week is with San Francisco's own audio engineer extraordinaire, Giants engineer extraordinaire, D.C. Darren Chan, Washington High Hall of Famer.

Don't you know? D.C., buddy.

How you doing, man?

What up, D.C.?

What's up, guys? What a day, huh? You guys, I just listened to that montage of voicemails.

That was phenomenally put together, man.

Come on.
