George Staines

And then you want to fight, you know, a...

George Staines oh he got signed to the UFC or you sign up to fight someone they won't sign up to fight you then you sign up to fight someone else they won't fight you either because they are the people in the first bracket who are trying to pad their records and then you get to 10-0 as well even though you've no interest in padding your record but you also have a padded record even though you're a very very good fighter and you get to that place because you look good even though you're not really that good Now there are some lads, Conor McCarthy is a great example of one, who has taken hard fights.

Look, George Staines as well, a great example of one.

They fought each other.

Who want to take hard fights, who want to get there.

Number four, Caleb Connor, 42K.

And then number five dropped down to 21K for George Staines.

Is that how you pronounce his last name?

Staines, yeah.

And Marilyn Jones, for anyone who doesn't know, is a top prospect in the UK, and he has been all the way as an amateur as well.

I remember him fighting, uh, George Staines, Curtis Campbell, and they were just always really highly touted fights.

And yeah, he was kind of flying through it, kind of at FC- with FCC in the pro ranks, finishing lads, and then Armin comes and, uh, yeah, he upsets the apple cart and takes the belt.

So seven and three.

[laughs] That's kinda wild Oh, last fight of the night.

Who we got? Loui Abashir versus George Staines.

And we got Loui at a pretty good dog here.

Plus 280, not bad.

That does give people some trouble.

Uh, he's gonna...

He's finished every one of his opponents, or every one of his wins, I guess that's the same thing, and he's looking to hand George Staines his first loss.

But George St. Staines is 8-0 and trains at Next Generation MMA in Liverpool alongside Paddy the Baddy and Luke Riley.

So moving on to the last fight.

We had George Staines versus Lawai Abushar.

Staines gets the KO by first-round slam.

He literally slammed him to the ground and knocked him out with the slam.

I had a, um, I used the word Hull in a derogatory term, didn't I, on the, uh, on the boxing sh- preview show earlier today, so I'm gonna redeem myself by bigging up somebody from Hull on the, uh, on the MMA preview show.

Last night, I'm sure everyone's seen it by now, if you haven't, jump on my socials, I've reposted it all over the place, George Staines, and for anyone that doesn't know, he's been in Cage Warriors.

Think he's 11 and 0 now, George.

Trains with Paddy The Baddy and Luke Riley out of Cage Warri- uh, out of Next Gen in Liverpool.

Yeah.

Fair play.

But George Staines absolutely is ready for the UFC.

Yeah, yeah.

You got

to get George Staines in

there.

By

On some guests that I've got.

Good luck to George Staines as well.

Fighting on Dana White Contender Series tonight.

Crazy.

And I don't know.

This was the sort of fight I was kind of like, you just have to lose into George Staines.

This fight is...

It's not that it was going bad or going good.
