It's just like, "All right, it's just based off of DC Comics' character," and then you can read through the thing like, okay, you're clearly pulling this story or that story.

You know, like we read The Amazing Spider-Man by David Koepp, and very clearly we could see, oh, you're doing the, the death of Captain Stacy, right, right out of the comic.

But, like, stitched together.

I actually really enjoyed Andrew's first movie, though The Amazing Spider-Man is probably my favorite live-action Spider-Man film, seeing him create his own costume and webbing his relationship with Gwen and the emotional aspect of the deaths, such as Uncle Ben or Captain Stacy.

I can't defend Amazing

Spider-Man 2,

They have 2D, they have 3D, they have stop motion, different frame rates, bright colors, and just a lot of different stylistic animations like noir, anime, punk.

and colors that make them very very beautiful it is like watching a living comic book so in the first movie which yes i will keep this brief uh miles morales discovers a multiverse of alternate universes and their respective spider people and not even people always um with their help he learns to accept his role as spider-man after the death of peter parker and his universe Along the way, learning his uncle Aaron is the Prowler, who is a villain, and he gets killed by Kingpin, while also strengthening his relationship with his father, who is a police officer.

All of the other spider people are returned to their own universes.

The second one picks up pretty much right where that one ended, though it starts with Spider-Woman slash Gwen Stacy's POV.

And going a bit more in depth into her backstory of how she, Spider-Woman, was blamed for the death of her best friend and only friend, Peter Parker.

Something that has made her really closed off and has driven a wedge in her relationship with her police chief father, who is determined to catch Spider-Woman and bring her to justice, not knowing it's Gwyn.

And kind of not understanding why Gwyn doesn't want him to do it.

After the events of the first film, she misses Miles, who is the first friend she'd made after the death of Peter.

Yeah.

But there's a moment in the middle of this one where Ben, Aunt May, Gwen Stacy, and Captain Stacy are sitting around looking at a journal full of their fate...

And it's like no exit.

It's a little like they're trapped in hell a little bit, right? Like there's something really dark about that.

... something that will get explored further in the follow-up film.

Uh, now his powers begin to manifest, especially during an awkward encounter with a, a new girl, Gwen Stacy, voiced by Hailee Steinfeld.

Well, technically Gwanda.

Yeah, that's right.

J- just the character design is great with her.

Uh, she's in charge of this project.

Um, and then Gwen Stacy's also there, who it turns out is a Spider-Woman from another dimension, a dimension where Peter Parker was killed by the Lizard, and she became the Spider-Man of that universe.

Um, there is a certain scientist who's really mad at them, and then a bagel is thrown at him, and then when it hits his head, it says bagel.
