Uh, and, um, the institute here has an insane archival collection of the work of photographer George Platt Lynes.

George Platt Lynes was a pioneer in, in sort of male nude figure study photography.

And, um, she said, "You know, I would love to have you work with the institute to utilize this crazy collection and create a sort of queer-leaning classical ballet."

Hmm.

So here I am, pouring through hundreds and hundreds of archival photos by George Platt Lynes, and, uh, I... four specifically have resonated with me in a way, uh, that match up with a piece of music by Debussy that I really love.

It's the trio, um, for piano, violin, and cello in G, um, oof, major, I believe.

And, uh-

I think my favorites have been, uh, the '30s, you know, those studio guys.
