George Hirst

Great determination.

George Hirst will get an assist for this.

[laughs] Probably the, uh-

Yeah, I think it-

It beats the slider of Middlesbrough defenders.

McGlynn rolls it, and McGlynn's in then, isn't he? He's in.

He puts it across, then it looked like it took a deflection, and then it's, uh, bad clearance from Ayling, straight to George Hirst, who takes a touch, tries to get it onto his, onto his left foot for a, for a shot.

In doing so, the ball rolls towards Robert Bosnic, who says, "I'll have that, thank you very much," and hammers it into the back of the net from about 10, 10, 12 yards.

Pre-match show is back on Thursday, looking ahead to Manchester City with Rich and Seb.

Uh, then the Weekend Preview returns on Friday with, with Henry and George.

I assume that George is going to that one.

I'd like to think he is, because he's, he's based, based up in Manchester, I believe.

Flagship is on Sunday with Ben, Dave and Joe, and Beyond the Scoreline returns on Monday.

...

but it's the one that's maybe more unpopular.

Uh, Streaky points out that George Hirst was on the bench again for Stoke, but another good result for them.

Obviously Sam Gallagher's back from a recent injury now and what a goal it was to, to win the game against Sheffield United.

George Hirst just one goal for him so far.

And yeah, I appreciate people need time to adjust and adapt, but at the end of the day, Stoke have invested quite a big fee in George Hirst to bring them goals and he is gonna be expected to deliver that.

But on current form prior to the break, I, I think Stoke have got it in them to carry this run on.

And I appreciate it's not the easiest of fixture lists, but I think with the way they're going at the moment and their home form does seem to be gradually improving as well.

Was injured, yeah.

No George Hirst.

So there's, it's completely revamped.

Is it?
