George H. Crosby Manitou State Park

It is rugged, and you will work for every foot of gain.

The SHT winds its way through seven magnificent state parks, and George Crosby Manitou is one of them.

For what it is worth, I find this section of trail to be the roughest and most slow-going.

It is also one of the most scenic, with fall foliage peaking in some spots and serene lakes such as Sanju, Egi, as well as Bean and Bear awaiting me after the park.
