George Fenton

I just do it.

I mean, uh, basically, what, what the, the secret is, I, many years ago, I did, I was in a film called Shadowlands with Debra Winger, and, uh, George Fenton, a British composer, wrote the music for it.

Anyway, a couple of years later, I, uh, directed my own film called August, set in North Wales.

And, uh, the producers were very good, and they said, uh, "Great.

It's a good film." They said, "What about music?" I said, "Let's see if we can get hold of George Fenton." So I called George up.

I said, "Would you come and watch this film?" He said, "Yeah." So he came over to watch the film.

Then he said to me, he said, "Well, I'm sorry, I don't have time to, to do music for this film.

It's really good writing.

Yeah, and the soundtrack in this film by George Fenton is kind of a jazzy soundtrack.

It also takes some pages from early 90s music, like when Bridges is at his apartment at the beginning, razzing it up.

There's a remix of I've Got the Powers playing, which is pretty good.
