Marcella legs it, and eventually ends up at the house of wealthy gent Roger Morton, played by the wonderful George Cole.

Now going by the name Carmilla, the vampiric temptress soon discovers that she has many delights to feast on, including the delicious Madeleine Smith and the divine Kate O'Mara.

You've got Douglas Wilmer as Baron Hartog.

You've got George Cole as Roger Morton.

And then you've got Peter Cushing, who's awesome.

So then Delane completely abandons the on-screen narrative to casually recount his own tragic life events, including falling off the wagon after eating tiramisu, then giving his actors hypothermia on a forced bonding retreat for the episode of The Bounder with George Cole and the governor, Peter Bowles.

Which is... which we'll get on to so yeah they bound us from 1982 and then on screen we see a standard earnest television acting basic multi-camera studio setups and completely normal prop interactions but like we said delay manages to spin his own tragic life events into those

I thought these were made-up programmes, like they were spliced together from something else, but apparently they existed.

Decent cast for a sitcom with George Cole and Peter Bowles.

I love what he says about Peter Bowles.

Yeah.

And the great thing was that was with the great George Cole.

Yeah.

And I love George Cole, Flash Harry, Arthur, you know, I loved all that.

And what a gentleman, what a lovely man.

And Arthur clocks the dog and sort of slightly, you know, balks and looks sort of disapprovingly at the dog.

And I would suggest that probably wasn't scripted or it was a late edition.

It was just a little thing that George Cole did.

Just those little moments kind of make a thought there.

Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.

Um, and we get George Cole as Roger Morton, and Madeline Smith as his daughter Emma, um, who are kind of friends of the Spiel dorfs.

And, um, Carmilla is sort of looking all unwell in the back of this crashed carriage.

Mm-hmm.

Yeah

... and sort of saying, "No, no.

Like, while, um, while, uh, George Cole, uh, Morton is away, um, you know, I run this house, and I will say when it's time to call a doctor." But if we- obviously that's because Carmilla is still trying to get Emma, and I really like that.
