George Brown College

I was there for 11 years.

And one of my early highlights in my career was that I was lucky enough to teach, go overseas and do a year teaching in Canada at an exceptional service that was attached to George Brown College in Toronto, Canada.

Then I returned to Australia, decided I would work in schools for a little while because I hadn't done that before.

So I worked across many year groups and particularly enjoyed kindergarten.

So with my fine dining background, with my educational background, and with the way that I told you that I'm a visual spatial learner, I'm always going to be teaching to the lower end of the spectrum than I am to the middle and the beginning.

And I just got my first teaching job at George Brown College in the Con Ed department while I was doing License to Grow.

So I was teaching a couple nights a week, trying to do this show and prep for this show.

So it was like one of those most difficult things that I'd ever gone through.

What does Canada's militarization of the economy look like, and why is this happening? Can we reconcile our climate commitments to this new war footing? Is this moving us further away from or closer to integration with the US? And as we accelerate into the most destructive industry on Earth, what are the true costs to our sovereignty, people, and planet? [upbeat music]
