Geof Darrow

And now you're making it hard.

And for Vince, Jeff Darrow, Aliens vs Predator.

Oh,

Jesus Christ.

And then the way, that the storyboards had been done.

They had a, because they come out of the comic book world, all the storyboards were done by their comic book friends and the concept art was done by their quite well-known comic book friend, Jeff Darrow, his name is, and Steve Scrooge.

You could look at all those frames and go, wow, this is like amazing.

Like, is this really how we're gonna shoot this? This is like incredible.

My da- my hopes were drastically dashed when I was being told that there was no way he's gonna be showing up.

And so there were three possible people to get on the book, but I got Geof Darrow and Marko Djurdjevic.

So I finished the 150 project.

But the problem now is looking at it, I wanna keep going, and I don't-

And then couple, uh, cover artists.

We have Jeff Darrow, who did the cover B of Cobra.

Todd Beats, the cover B of Rare Robot.

Brett Bean, cover B of, uh, Armadillo, which apparently what...

Yep.

And, and, and that's, it was so apparent talking to them.

Not to skip forward, but like Jeff Darrow is a known, like kind of grumpy, curmudgeony guy, right? Apparently couple V Friends people went up to him to get some, to sign something, he didn't have the greatest reaction.

And that was news.

So we're filming that this week.

And then I'm filming another top-down flip through with Jeff Darrow.

And we're going to be looking at the Shaolin Cowboy AI Alive Artist Edition that he self-published for San Diego Comic-Con.

I do have some questions to answer.

[laughs] Yeah.

Uh, you approach comics like Jeff Darrow does who, uh, who did Hard Boiled.

Oh yeah?

He just, I don't know if you know his style.

amazing.

And Jeff Darrow just conceptualized very much the architecture.

That's who

I was looking for.

By all accounts, these guys consume everything.

If you name it, they've read it in one way or another.

And you're talking about everything from Schopenhauer to Jeff Darrow comic books.

They've read everything.
