Gently Tender

No.

So there i- there's a band that they're done now, I think it's called Gently Tender.

Really?

And it's got someone from the Big Moons in it-

I really like it.

I think it's right up your street.

Gently Tender?

Gent-

We've got music from The Kaulitz, got their new one.

Uh, Gently Tender, Elephant Stone, Chachka, Flood Hounds, they've, uh, dropped their new single literally on Friday, so we've got, uh, the brand new one from them.

Apollo Junction, and TV Repairman.

So again, we're, we're traversing most of the world today.

[laughs]

Yeah, this is, uh, this is a really nice one.

It's, uh, it's by a band called Gently Tender, and it's called Don't Sleep.

[rock music] Down in the dark.

A member from that band, Palm Event Violets, is now here in the Surprise Cast studio.

Comes under a different name, Gently Tender.

He's here to talk about a brand new awesome EP, This Was Once a Fuel, concert experiences, inspirations, and a whole lot more.

Hello, Sam.

And...

Yes.

But yeah, no, I remember in the early days of Gently Tender, we bought in...

Celia Archer of the Big Moon to come and play with us and she sang with us on the album and she even wrote some of the lyrics on the album as well but she used to say watching all of you guys speak is literally just watching a carousel and And I had a fun fair, and it's just like the way we will just talk over each other, butt in, butt out.

And we did it.

Gently Tender, thank you so much for joining us on The Hardest Part.

Thank you very much.

So the audience are about to hear the two songs you brought with you today, only the second band to bring two songs.
