First impressions of Colony.

I thought it was a great twist on the good old zombie genre.

And it was very fast.

It had a few layers, which I liked.

Same thing.

Really good twist.

I was skeptical at first, but really good spin on the zombie genre.

Say that three times fast.

Venom is kind of the big bang.

And unlike Slayer and Metallica and Exodus and Overkill, unlike the black metal bands that came after Venom, black metal is actually named after a Venom song, the genre.

is named after a Venom genre.

The genre is named after a Venom song.

That's how influential Venom was.

Unlike these other artists that I just mentioned from the sort of metal sub-genres, Venom professed to have a real love of Satan.

Now, what I'm trying to figure out is, do I believe that? You know, it's funny.

I talked about this in the rap party with Zeth.

I want to go back to the Europe looking glass phenomenon, because one of the things that Europe has tried beyond open borders, which President Trump has now closed, is the government giveaway.

And apparently the government giveaway isn't good enough for those people that are now looting, burning and destroying Western civilization in Europe.

Is that a subliminal message that can, in the closing days of this election, also contrast Republican policies, which is you earn it yourself, you control your success, against the Democrats, Socialists, we're just going to give you what we want to give you? Well,

that's right.

I think it's the looking glass moment for America.

Dr. James Robbins, one of the best security experts in the country, a real Pentagon expert.

He's going to tell us why what's going on in France has very strong meaning for all of us here in America and all of Western civilization.

I didn't have a social media presence to promote it, so I just kind of reached out to as many, um, like bloggers and, and reviewers as I could and offered them a free copy, and some of them were gracious enough to accept it, and some of them read it, and some of them enjoyed it.

But for a couple months, you know, really nothing happened, and then one day somebody left a review in an online book group called Books of Horror, which is a Facebook book group full of like very, very dedicated, supportive, you know, genre readers.

And somebody left like this really, really glowing review about my book and said some really, really amazing things, and essentially the, the whole group saw it, and at that point there were probably 30,000 people in there.

I don't know, something like that.

So I just tend to go into something trying to follow a story, and it almost inevitably borrows from a couple different genres because I'm a fan of so many different genres.

So yeah, you know, it's funny you say that about horror.

Horror is not a lot of people's cup of tea.

Horror is kinda like this joke that we play on ourselves to test our mettle or our courage.

Uh, you know, it can be fun.

It's intended to be fun, but it's, it's not a real test of those things.
