So in a very controversial decision, the Church of Saint Genevieve, Genevieve, which is in Paris.

The patron saint of Paris is Genevieve, Saint Genevieve, who's a Roman era saint that protected the French people and was inspired during like the Roman era.

She was a very early saint.

And the church that's in her name gets taken over by the revolutionary government, which gets rid of, and this is like at the turn of the 18th, like late 1700s to early 1900s.

So this project happens at the last half of the 19th century, the last quarter of the 19th century.

to kind of memorialize it and its history as a Catholic church and the history of France in it.

So they hire Jean Paul Laurent to do the death of Saint Genevieve.
