General-purpose machine gun

Everyone got pretty serious after that.

The machine guns all came back out and the GPMGs and everyone bombed back up again.

Blue hats sort of took a back seat and it was a lot more conventional and a lot more camming up and guys were a lot more, yeah, it was getting a bit more serious for a while there.

It's that

[footsteps] 30 minutes later, the SBS squad's two pickup trucks arrive outside the Qala Jangi Fort.

They leap out, carrying their GPMG heavy machine guns.

An American Green Beret sprints over.

Scruff gives him a cursory salute.

And there were two support cars.

Which had what we call medium machine guns, a GPMG, the army was a deadly weapon.

So what the commander did was they stepped forward.

What sort of mentality does that? They stepped forward into this car park.

Say, for example...

Say you've got a military book and someone says, oh, the character went and picked up a GPMG.

Well, what's a GPMG? Well, a GPMG is a general purpose machine gun.

Well, how does that work? And try and explain it without boring the shit out of people.

And so that's what I've done.
