General Baptists

You know, there's just this writing off, "Well, Baptists, you know, they just believed in absolute religious liberty.

They were just like, you know, the general Baptists." And that's what's used really as the foundation of Baptist political theology.

It'll be the general Baptists or, like, Particular Baptists who were Particular Baptists for five minutes and they weren't confessing, they weren't part of the core group, so to speak.

Um, you know, these fringe guys, and they're the bearers, standard-bearers of what Particular Baptist political theology would be, without using the guys who actually talked about it and defended it, who were confessional.

Um, it, it's just, it, it is sad to see that.

I'm pretty sure I did one on General Ba- I'm tr- drawing a blank.

I mean, I've done so many episodes at this point, but I think I did one, um, on General Baptists.
