Gene Ween

So, uh, first I'll just kinda share my, my story, and then we'll have Rex come out for a little bit and see what he's got for us.

But there was one time I was kicked out of a show, and it was a Gene Ween solo show.

Small club.

I don't even know where this was.

I wanna say I was in my early 20s, so this is kind of in that period of Ween where I think things were kinda dying down a bit with the band.

I wanna say it's, like, post-Quebec.

Gene Ween, I don't even remember any of the context.

I don't know who was on stage with him.

That is my go.

Gene Ween and Dean Ween, respectively.

And there was actually a third member, Mean Ween, who we'll cover on later.

But they met in a junior high school typing class in 1984 when they were 14 years old.

No, you can't stay.

That was Sorry Charlie.

Interesting thing with Ween is that Gene Ween and Dean Ween both normally have their respective roles.

So Gene Ween is normally the one who sings, and he does all the fun voices.
