Those Geekbench scores, am I right? And now you're finally getting a phone that will feel good in the hand.

Because, you know, when Sony went out to build their phone, they definitely did not consider the ergonomics of an evolved primate with an opposable thumb.

Who could even use that experience? Xperia 1ii.

Preliminary M5 Ultra GPU Geekbench scores have come in.

We didn't have these last episode.

All right, so looking at the performance deltas, the increases through different generations, M1 to M2 is about 34% better.

That or an NX Super.

So I pulled that out and I pulled up the Geekbench numbers between the SM, what was it? The S926U, which was the dev kit.

And I'm like, hey, these guys are actually very close together.

So this would be a good little thing to A, B test it on.

Cause I just came from an Apple event yesterday in Maryland and Apple corporate.

the big old fruit company in the sky, has been hard pushing, obviously everybody's pushing AI, right? But they're hard pushing The new Mac Mini and the new Mac Studio, because they're really good at local AI usage, and somebody wrote a report, I guess the Geekbench marks came out, and the Mac Studio, for like 3,500 bucks, came in third below two Nvidia cards, and one of those Nvidia cards was like 15 grand.

and you got a whole computer.

So Apple's like really pumped that like this works really, really well and stuff like that.

There was a M6 leak benchmark.

I think there was, it's only, I believe, like Geekbench.

So it's not the most representative sample.

But if we look here, M5 Ultra, oh gosh.

Apple might have decided to drop older health features in favor of integrating new technology, but this might alienate some users who relied on the handwashing detection feature.

M6 Pro chip result on Geekbench found likely fake.

They surpass the S26 Ultra.

They get way better scores on the Geekbench benchmark test, and the graphics performance is also a lot better.

They can get, like, significantly higher scores.

Just out of my own curiosity, I had to look this up.
