Geek Love

Um, so I had not heard about Catherine Dunn.

I'm now I'm looking at that interview and the geek love, um, cover looks super familiar to me so like i've probably just seen that orange cover and seen the the title and been like oh this is uh not something for me when in fact if i had maybe read the back of the book i would have Said, oh, this is exactly something for me.

Because I was reading Jaeger's introduction.

B.R. Jaeger wrote the introduction to this book.

And he was talking about all this creepy clown, creepy carnival stuff going on in Geek Love.

And I have periodically, for years on the internet... espoused my love and desire to consume more creepy carnival creepy circus stuff i love it i'm i'm super into it um clearly i don't like actively seek it out aside from posting about it on on social media but like as one of those things when i do come across it it's like oh hell yeah this is for me Um, so I absolutely need to read geek love.

Um, I was reading your Wikipedia page and I saw that she did a lot of writing about like boxing too.

Yeah.

Some in our book club were disturbed by this novel, but all agreed they were deeply moved by it.
