Geary County

I don't need more than one case to think this is an issue.

And then recently in Manhattan, we had the police, they arrested 19 individuals in Manhattan or in Riley County, in Geary County, and maybe one other, but, um, that were accused of sex offender or sex offender violations.

Noah Perry, uh, people who are tuning into this program, they say, "Gosh, it's the first time I've heard of this guy.

I think I saw a yard sign of his," right? So, so what do you want those people to know about your candidacy?

Drew, I don't know, are you in Fulton County, are you in s- somewhere else in Georgia? That's the only county I know in Georgia, so, uh-

And, you know, we have three coming up here in, you know, before the year ends.

And one is Geary County and one is is Frankfurt and then want to stand to.

So stand to is happens here in Manhattan.

Stand to promotes the military.

And that's on Veterans Day.

Geary County is October 20th, and the Frankfurt one is December 1st.

And, you know, I bring this up, and I recognize that most of our audience here is probably Manhattan.

So the Crisis Center, we are the local domestic violence and sexual assault agency.

We serve five counties: Riley, Geary, Pottawattamie, Marshall, uh, Fort Riley, and Clay.

And so we offer 24/7 a- uh, services for victims and survivors of domestic violence, and secondary victims as well.

um well she's of course she's right about um you know historically you know i i was trained by some really remarkable women i always make it a point to give a shout out to kim pentico who at the time was with the kansas coalition against domestic violence and i was an assistant county prosecutor in Geary County, Kansas.

And at the time, this was like 1997, 98.

I was a drug task force prosecutor.
